  • zhug = hug
  • tzat? = what’s that?

Other notables:

  • whoa (combined with a frantic race to the nearest parent) = loud sound from kids next door
  • zjoo-0oo-oo-oo-heer? = what’s goin’ on here?
  • Papa? (combined with patting of couch) = I must drop whatever I’m doing, sit beside her and watch television until she’s satisfied.
  • ee-you-pee = t-u-v of the alphabet song, repeated the entire way through.

Responses

  1. Loving this list. I am going to have to do a post like this. We have bup for up too… but most of the time it is dow = up or down.
    diba diba dib= dip
how (with wild raising of the hand) = help

  2. Cool. Post your blog’s address on here so I can check it out. I think I’ve been there before, but not in awhile…

    • The entertainment value isn’t nearly as good as your blog (unless Paul writes the entry), mine is mostly to keep the grandparents up to date. http://zeeorzed.blogspot.com/
